'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Those 7 fenders must be rolled, very good pricing.. Just get the copper front, and rear, add a few more copper bits, and shazam... While new look...be nice patina on them...

I watched the video now, it just shows 1 step of the process. I think they are rolled..easy to change width, radius, profile, etc.
And really easy to make it ribbed, or not.

Where does it end!
First the blue caliper caps, then the excess caliper mount and now what?
Tappet covers?
It ends when I have a bike half this cool myself and I don't have to live vicariously through you. :)

This really is one of my favorite builds here or anywhere.  Glad you're still tweaking and tuning it and having fun with it.

Recall the cb900f fender? It was between what you have now and what you started with.

BTW Syscrush, I think you have a wrong word choice in the second sentence of your previous post.  Should have used "an" instead of "and".

BTW Syscrush, you don't mind the fork preload adjusters being anodized in the same color blue that is used on the caliper?
you need some anodized valve caps.

Jim,

Here is an option I have seen from the Fazer forums. This guy "Devilsyam" machined these to fit into the caliper plugs. I am sure you could spin these up in an afternoon...

PS, I suck at hockey but enjoy century rides on my fixie and get up at 5:30 every Tue and Thu to do yoga.  Maybe I should move to Vancouver...

Except for the fact that everybody's so tired from getting up early for yoga and kayaking and going through 2 joints by sundown that there's not a lot of nightlife. :P

Even so, the Juno weekend there in April 2009 was a fantastic experience - despite being unable to find a decent sit-down restaurant serving food at 10:30 on a Saturday night, I didn't want to leave.

FJ, anytime you're in Toronto, the beers are on me.

Now, that's a great idea. I could get them colour matched to the red tappet covers too.
THAT would be hot!

Jimmy,
Found you a set of blue anodized engine case bolts...

Or, red:

Or, you could replace those dull red caps with these in either polished or chrome!

Then there are those really nifty sparkly grips...

Jimmy, if you need paint masks or a water slide decal or high performance (thin) vinyl grachics for your side cover redo:

http://callie-graphics.com

Callie does phenomenal work and can match dimensions, styles, etc. From photos or other sources.  I had a decal sheet from a 1/48 scale plastic Monogram Hurricane MkIIC that I wanted to use for a 30 inch electric RC plane I was building. Callie replicated the markings to scale perfectly and did a great job at a reasonable cost for that custom work. She lives just north of Albuquerque, NM

Thanks for the recommendation. One of my good friends works for a sign company and cut up all my paint masks. Fortunately I have a couple 550Four masks ready and waiting.

You guys are a big help and a ton of fun.

Thanks for all your support.

I'm definitely going to take you up on that!

So, once I decided to go the custom metal fender route, I had nothing to loose messing with the carbon one.

Before

After a couple of creative cocktails, I think it turned out quite well.

After

So well, that I don't think I'll bother ordering the metal one after all.

Closer

I like !!

Burbank Plating Co can provide you a nice green dye to their fasteners that they zinc plate and parts they rework...that green would be Syscrush's new  blue...
:D ;D

Just teasing, green on your current scheme would look awful.

The RPM increase usually means stiffer valve springs will be required, and probably titanium retainer/keepers.

With the parts sheet in hand, you can see that 'Must Use YR-2-3' on the card calls for the use of Yoshimura's HD valve springs.

Jim, as you know, I can't wait to hear how it turns out.  I'm glad that cam ended up in your hands ;)

"Interceptor" as far as I've seen in vehicles was initially leo usage.

"Police Interceptor" - you can see it referred to in that older Dodge(I think it was) the cop cars were made from in 70's or 80's. They designated the upgraded from stock parts as part of the "police interceptor package".
