Wouldn't this measurement vary by shock preload, tire size, and tire wear? Dan

I would ask why not seek the stock length of the shock, and prefer the ground-to-eye measurement? What is it that you seek to determine and why?

I'm building a new back half of the frame and I forgot at get that measurement. This measurement works as a reference telling me how many inches higher my new rear end is. I'm wanting the keep the same angle on the swing arm.
