Is this Buzz (Dynoman) drag racing back in the 70's?
« on: April 09, 2013, 08:36:02 pm »
These photos are on Dynoman's website.  Next to the photos is this:

Talking about his products: "Many have been dyno tested by Dynoman and/or used on our road racing and drag racing teams since 1971"

I have never met the man or seen a photo of him, so I have no idea what he looks like, never mind what he looked like 40 years ago.  So, is this him?  Whoever he is he is riding a pretty cool mid 70's D&K framed dragster.

I lived in Austin Texas in the mid 70s to the early 80s. That track is Little River outside of Killeen. I used to race there. I think the picture is of Brent Adams, I used to buy my parts from Brent and his wife, Monica, at Adams Quadracycle in Austin. Those Webbers on that dragbike could be the ones I sold to Frank!

The name Brent Adams and Quadracycle rings bell.
I can remember a post here on the board a while ago.
There was a photo of a 750 rocker cover with a Quadracycle tag fixed to it.
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Yeah, he used to have a little tag that stuck to stuff. It was on my cover that I got from him with the screws in it that held down the cam cradles. Frank got it, too!

good eye Joe!

Confirmation would be the sponsor lettering on the bike "Adams Quadracycle, Austin Texas"  That makes sense... ;)
