76 750cb k6 Rear hub damper replacement
« on: April 10, 2013, 08:18:33 AM »
Hope someone can shed some light on accessing the rear hub rubber dampers I want to replace on my 1976 cb750k. I am doing a rear shoe replacement more for attempting to get rid of squeaking brakes, and I thought while I had the rear axle assembly out I would replace the rubber dampers (originals from 76). I have removed
the sprocket, rear wheel bearing retainer, and not sure what I else I have to remove next, the final drive flange is still tight in the rear hub, just not sure what to pull or remove next to access the rubber dampers. Any help regarding this would greatly be appreciated, thanks, Bud  ( also any tips on getting rid of the rear brake squeak would be welcomed!)
