Bar clamps
« on: April 09, 2013, 07:44:37 AM »
Are most upper handlebar clamps universal? I want to use clamps off an old Honda ATV so I can mount my mini speedo and tack to the little doohickie that sticks out to the side on each clamp. What do you think? They are number 5 and 6 on diagram.

I have a similar question. I'm trying to find some clamps that will fit my '76 cb550. I noticed that the early 80's nighthawk clamps  look like they should fit the bolt spacing, and i know that they're 7/8 bars. Has anyone on here done this?  Probably a redundant question, but i checked the archives ad couldn't find any specifics.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does not matter what bike as long as spacing and bar size are the same.
