alright guys. I just got home. first thing I tested was a new relay with three prongs. gray to "L" black to "+" and that random green wire with the blade connector to "-". blew three fuses doing this. does not work in the right position still. took the switch out of the equation and used jumpers to test. left still works, right side makes the relay buzz still. so my switch is good. means something is amiss in either the grounding or the actual harness where i cant see it....so I will route a cable straight to the relay (gray). then I know that gray cable is good. then the problem lies in the black (power?) cables

ok so i made really long (4 ft) jumpers and routed the gray to the headlight bucket and tried the same test (replacing the inside gray wire with an outside one eliminating any interference I cant see) I left the black harness the way it was. same result. so the gray wire inside the harness is fine. did the same with the black cable on the flasher. routed it straight to the bucket to the cluster of black wires that plug in. SAME result so the black wire inside the harness appears to be ok too. now I am really stumped

Not tired enough to sleep.

so you took the switch out the equation and the right side buzzes? Try disconnecting the rear light and run the test again, then try it with the front disconnected. That might tell you something.

alright. fixed. I knew the new harness and new switches and new and new and new was't the issue.........user error. after more wire swapping I could get all various blinkers blinking, combinations etc but I never could get the rear right blinker to blink. obviously shorted it. started unscrewing the bracket bolt and there it was, I ran the wire too close to the bolt and it got caught in the threads and spliced open and was shorting to ground. now all is well with my mother blinking blinky blinkers. waste of a $16 flasher relay though...

lesson learned, it does not matter how brand new anything is, if you don't put it together properly it ain't gon work. I am relieved to know my headlight bucket wiring skills are ok though. that rats nest is stressful enough.

THANKS for every ones help and insight :D

I STILL need to sort out this front brake switch though. one battle down though!
