If you do, have you seen any recent posts or activity from KayJohn with the Denver's choppers in Kingman, AZ?
Thanks

The reason I asked about KayJohn is relay related. During some of the recent fits and starts with PM notifications, I got a PM from him, and replied, but I haven't heard back from him...

Might be able to glean more contact info from the 2011 thread?? I'll see if I have anything in PM's.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Oh yeah, I tried to sell off some sissy bars and twisty chrome HI way pegs and stuff and the mod pissed and moaned that I had an old add up here.  Only advertise there is the rule so he pulled it down. Picky to the point of pointless after I pulled the ad down here and re-submitted it,. Never posted there again but there arse some good wiring schematics and specs there. 750 only.

Well you need to start your own 450 site mate, I quite like those old vibrators, but they're not a patch on the legendary 750's, of course. Not that I'm biased. At all. ;D

Hondatwins.net is where to get info mostly. Maybe I should try to go there with chopper clutter.

Your into the 450 choppers. That's cool I know where one is at I'm thinking about getting. And as the hippie thing goes my inlaws are genuine hippies. The number one reason why I can't stand hippies.

I bought a  cl450  that had long forks, tiller bars, sissy bar and a goofy seat. It was so ugly I felt sorry for the poor thing and bought it.  I proceeded to take all that stuff off and put it back to pseudo stock, and most of the stuff needed was on a parts bike and an earlier parts lot I bought. I think I spent a whole weekend beating fork ears back into a cylinder shape as the ones on my parts bike were dented to the point of  being square.

Took a picture sitting on it but it was dangerous to ride, and when I had to find the 3rd PO from title search of owners- he told me it was dangerous. No frame mods , just long forks, perhaps an extra foot or more.  Front suspension did not slide, he said it would throw you off, so no riding it like that.

NOT everybody on here rides STOCK. But one thing about a chopper ,you have to RIDE it and not just sit on it.

Yeah you're right Chuck, most choppers handle like schidt, so need a lot more rider input than those set up correctly in the factory.

It's that "form over function" thing, you ride a bike because you like riding bikes, or you ride a chopper because you like being looked at. ;D

DAMN, I like being looked at!!! But trust me I wouldn't pay no where near what some of the BIG name chopper builders want for their bikes... OCC  is now bankrupt because they can't sell their THEME bikes. There are only a few chopper builders still around that was BIG 10 years ago. The BIG name chopper craze is on it's way out, I think the RUBS have figured out they can buy a BETTER bike and RIDE it for around 20K NEW.
