DAMN, I like being looked at!!! But trust me I wouldn't pay no where near what some of the BIG name chopper builders want for their bikes... OCC  is now bankrupt because they can't sell their THEME bikes. There are only a few chopper builders still around that was BIG 10 years ago. The BIG name chopper craze is on it's way out, I think the RUBS have figured out they can buy a BETTER bike and RIDE it for around 20K NEW.

Yeah, you're right Chuck, the mega-dollar Choppers never interested me, but I think the GFC killed the industry. I read how Big Bear Choppers were building 100 bikes per month in 2007, and by 2009 they were building less than 100 per year.

I always laugh at just how much money some people are prepared to pay for a custom bike, most of the Chopper "Builders" were just assembling aftermarket engines into aftermarket rolling chassis and giving them a basic paint job, and charging the "Rubes" $50K or more (much more, in the case of OCC's "Theme Bikes") for $20K worth of parts and paint.

Nice work if you can get it.............. Oh, and Scott, I don't know Kayjohn either, but by keeping this thread fresh, with luck, someone who does will see it and be able to help you out, so don't be too upset. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Yeah, BUMP.

Send me a PM if you want a sissy bar(two with the tacky scrolls cut out of the middle) are available, along with a seat and a kickstand and 35mm fork tubes with lowers that don't slide. I think thetiller  bars will make a nice rear stand for  something if no one wants those.

Sissy bars could be cut to  make a nice loop tailpiece BTW.

I think Kayjohn came from Colorado with a friend 2 years ago to our Honda Chopper Meet. He brought 2 Diggers on a trailer. I haven't seen him post in a LONG time on HC.com
