Rings for F3
« on: April 11, 2013, 12:46:40 PM »
I bought these on ebay from a guy I think is metric cycles. The part number is 13012-392-004.
I compared them to old rings and they are spot on within the error of my vernier caliper.
The only difference is the bottom ring, the wave is 90 degrees off, but I can't imagine that would make a difference. See the picture, the top two are originals, bottom two rings are new.

The plan is to dip them in Delvac oil and install them on pistons. I looked into ring pliers but after practicing with old rings I am confident I can do it with just fingers.
