z1parts.net anyone?
« on: April 12, 2013, 10:41:39 AM »
Has anyone bought parts from z1parts.net?  I searched the forum and heard these are from frankenstuff. I called the website and it sounds like they are made overseas.  Their prices look decent, but I have no experience with them.

KO side covers for 85 and the quality looks good enough.  Link below.

I'd much rather buy from fb, but he is taking a break for wood working.

I bought a wiring harness from them that is a high-quality reproduction. Yeah, it almost has to have been made someplace else. Initially, I ordered the wrong part. They exchanged it without any hassle. I will buy from them again.

Thanks this is very helpful.  Their site looks a little budget, guess you can judge a book by the cover.  Thanks Bob.

There's two "Z1" parts sources out there...Think Jeff Saunders is with http://www.z1enterprises.com/, Z1parts.net is someone else.

Haven't ordered from Z1parts.net, but they do have some neat stuff listed on their website.  Z1 enterprises is great, have ordered from them before in the past, do a great job.

I will be buying parts from them very soon.

I looked and they have some good stuff, they have the later side covers too for $79 i also noticed they have Km/h speedo's which would be convenient for me in the great white north of Canada. I almost guarantee i will be spending some money with these guys soon...

If you do let the rest of us know how it goes.  Looking to get a set of side covers.  Want something new.  Scraping and sanding for hours has lost it's appeal.

I am surprised z1enterprises is not sueing over trademark infringement.  Better order my stuff before the lawyers get involved.

Yeah, Z1enterprises.com probably predates Z1parts.net. However, before Z1enterprises initiates a civil action, they might want to talk to Kawasaki's legal department. Just a thought.

I bought a RH control from there. The quality seemed good, I ended up sending the part back and they gave me a full refund which is nice. I'd definitely order from there again.

Can now vouch for Z1 parts.net as well.  Ordered a reproduction headlight shell from them, fast delivery, looks spot on & made from more flexible/less brittle material.  Would do business with them again.

I received good service from z1parts. I haven't installed the parts yet, (left and right 1975 CB 750 k controls) but look like good quality.
