Cycle X 915 CC
« on: April 03, 2014, 09:29:51 AM »
any experience with the Cycle X 915 CC kit,  how reliable is it ? It says that it does not need boring.
How easy is the install ? Are any other mods necessary to do this upgrade ?

Thx

The upper case does not need boring for the sleeves to fit inside it. The block needs to have the stock sleeves removed then you have to bore the block to accept the new sleeves. The new sleeves must be pressed in then bored to fit the new pistons. If you're going over 836/849 the general concensus is to also use stronger rods.
