1970 KO for sale but no one bidding on it.
« on: April 15, 2013, 09:47:24 AM »
Why do you think there is no one bidding on this bike?  I would have thought it would bring what they are asking.

Because people finally wised up to the fact that bidding on anything in feebay early just drives up the price?

"No Title (not required)" might deter some also. Bike looks pretty but the starting bid does seem a bit steep. I think it's a combination of all of the above reasons.

No title needed ....unless you want to tag it and ride it.

A title is not needed in CT for a bike that old.  Same rule in RI, VT, NH and maybe even Maine.

Here in Mass, a title is needed.

Same with Kansas, but I wager most states want title to sell it.

There's also been a flood of K0's on ebay lately. 3 sold for around $9,000, and one for less. Perhaps he needed to wait a bit?

1 bid with a little over an hour to go. Reserve not met.
Have a feeling this one will not sell. I would not end an auction during normal business hours, could keep some from bidding at the last minute frenzy.

Sunday afternoon/evening ending auctions are the way to go...only times I list my stuff.
