does anyone know where to find a tail hoop for a 76 honda cb550f and how to install it?

it's not the kind of thing you 'find' exactly. you should order some steel tubing of the right diameter.. maybe trace something out that has the right dimensions and take it to a local muffler shop for some mandrel bending and welding. Or you could pay dime city $80 for something that still needs welding.

yeah these grab bars are very rare. I got lucky and bought one 2 weeks ago in germany for 75 Euros and that
one has no welding spots and great chrom 
Took me almost 6 month of searching through a lot of crappy junk on the net.

Mounting is easy. The front bar goes to the upper rear shock bolts (M10) and there is another M8 bolt  which
goes throught the frame where the rear fender is mounted.
