Hey there! New to the site here and have used it as a great resource for MANY questions I have answered about rebuilding my CB500.

This is my first restoration project and am excited about the progress I've already made.

Congratulations & welcome.  What are the build/rebuild plans, mostly stock or modified?  Be sure & post those before & after pics.

Thanks! The plan is to restore it to stock, fresh-off-the-line condition.

Excellent!  Looks like you have a complete bike, great start.  First thing, after a cleaning, remove & put away that tank & side covers until you are ready, they are golden originals.
Be prepared to invest time & money, all is possible but patience will serve you well.  As you know, this site is the greatest source of info in the world on these classics.  Enjoy the build.
