nice.  Kawasaki is a well built motorcycle, huh.

So, it needs 3 rubber dampners to tame the vibration in the turn signals... what do they have to do to for mirrors, or were you never suppose to worry whith what was behind you? :)

Usually every bike was faaar behind you David...

Ha...good point, Larry!   Dont have mirrors for this bike yet but the stock mirrors on my H1 are excellent, much better than the average 70's mirror.

Congrats and getting the engine in Steve and having a nice roller. Looks like great progress and very much looking forward to your finished product. Sure it will be better then new !!

Thanks Eric.  Dont know about better than new, but if it runs as well, I'll be very happy!
I'm staying focused on this bike now and trying to do something daily, no matter how small.

Just ordered front sprocket, washer, nut and chain....

Small update due to work on the K4 "Big Bang" bike but I do now have all the parts for the headlight  bucket and it is mounted! I know that sounds so minimal but was not simple to get it right.  I've opted to go with the short turn signal stems, and Z1.net offers up a high quality part...

How's your carbs. Stev-o ?

The stock Mikuni carbs are now immaculate!  I disassembled them, sent them to Nils for vapor blasting and ultrasonic cleaning and are now awaiting reassembly.  New cables are on the list to be purchased.

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread, but I cannot find anywhere else where this may fit better. Went to AMA VMD last weekend and met the Kawasaki Triple "pope" - Rick Brett. He was riding an unusual H1-based bike. One that a friend of his built, inspired by Allan Millyard:

Double Triple!   I've read all about Allan Millyard, what he does with these bikes is incredible.

RB is a legend when it comes to Kawasaki Triples, would like to make it up to one of his Birthday bashes in MI some time.

Thanks for posting Mike.

If you look closely, it is not a "double Triple", it is a "Seven". Funny looking from the back, with 3 exhaust tips on the right and four on the left, keeping the unbalanced look of the original.

Funny thing was, it didn't sound that outrageous. I was wondering what kind of firing order it had. Maybe a couple of cylinders fired in pairs
