I want one

Me too.... ;D   Maybe he would do a discount for 2 then you could ship me one....{i'll pay for it of course}  ;)
Group buy maybe...?  Did I mention I want one...?    ;D

The last and only time I inquired him about local pick up with cash (to save on $60 shipping fee, some PayPal and eBay fees) and he was fairly rude in his reply.  I like his pipes and all, but.....

Some people have reported him being a bit touchy but i haven't had that problem, he sent me one of his original pipes for $400 shipped to Aus, can't complain about that. Other members have bought from his shop direct ,  he runs a  business so I am not sure why he would take offense to going to his shop to buy goods... Why did you go through ebay in the first place ? You would have been better off contacting his business....

I've had some people use this shipper http://www.forwardair.com/ when buying bikes or sending me motor jobs.
They seem to be reasonable and relatively professional.

Yes, have heard of them but not used them.  There is a terminal in Milwaukee, are you near there? I could pick it up at the terminal in Austin to get the best rate.

Are you firm on that price or would you consider an offer?

count me in when the time comes.  cb750 bike though as I don't have a Z1  :P

I could do the leg work, pick up all the pipes and ship them out to you guys.  I have a fedex shipping account so shipping should be a little easier on the wallet for all

Yes, for a CB750, that would be great Gold, thanks. I don't have an immediate need, the Z needs pipes first.
Would prolly use the MotoGP exhaust on an upcoming K1 "CR750" build.

I would love one Steve, not sure about Fed Ex for international shipping, I would have to see a shipping quote first, USPS first class international is the one I usually use, usually the cheapest too....   Keep me in the loop.... ;)

I'm about an hr. from the Milwaukee airport.

So who makes them?

Chris doesn't hand make all his pipes, lots of the first style pipe he made were outsourced, he sold hundreds of them to more than one retailer, Carpy was one of them, they had a split up and Carpy like to tell anyone that'll listen that Chris doesn't make his own pipes, when in fact his specialized pipes like the new and small run pipes are made in house. Chris is an engineer {for Yoshi as well} and even makes pipes for some big race teams, he also travels the world with race teams as well as building some awesome bikes himself, there is no way he could make that many pipes by himself, there aren't enough hours in the day....

Hey Goddffery - I would like a spare motor, but shipping is a deal killer at the moment though.
If I'm not mistaken, that is off a '75 like mine based on that serial number.

Well I have a buddy that lives in the Dallas area and makes a trip out this way about once a year; it's possible he would be willing to transport.

If Steve doesn't want that motor I'm interested mate? (that should force Steve into action......) ;D

If so, I'll build the crate, if you arrange the shipping.

Terry - do you really want it? Or just sayin that because you think I should buy it? [I should!]
Godd - couldn't you just strap it to a pallet and freight it to TX? Couple hundred bucks??

Yep, I want it Steve, back off mate, and don't try to lowball the Godd-Father either, I reckon 400 is a bargain! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Hey Stev-o, thought you might appreciate this Kawa over on RCGroups (down under), fellow built a sweet airplane too...

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=25401796&postcount=311

Kawa triple...

Also, when Scottly is done with it he has a magazine to pass along, has an article and some photos you would appreciate...  Maybe he will send you the entire magazine, if it has the 350F in it you may just get the pages for the Kawa... or the mag without the 350F pages...

Scott has family in town now. He drilled a pair of rotors for me for my cb550...they should be here probably sometime next week. Don't know if they shipped yet or not, they were done.  Photos made them look pretty darn good.  Inexpensive as well.

Here's my latest acquisition....... A 1977 KZ1000 LTD.  :)  Only paid  $400.oo  I'm using just the frame and some parts of the engine. Gonna build a 1260cc turbo engine. Also using RC COMPONENTS wheels and D & G rear prostreet swingarm. I have almost all of the parts needed. It's gonna be way faster than my turbo'd honda.   :o

    The rear wheel....

    The front wheel....
