No prob, I actually have a good spare tank for my other H2 [roller].
Treat H2 parts as gold, I had no idea until I started sourcing parts I need [latest eye-opener is complete airbox I need, about $300]

Breadboxes, as in plural??

oops, no, just one.  Gonna try to hang onto this one, instead of letting it slip away, with the rest of the bike attached.

I like em, have had 2.  One is on the Park Racer, was not an issue to tune, either.
The rusted one I had ended up being traded for a set of H2 carbs!

Upside down forks, mono shocks and so .  It's a real beast.

That's a great looking H2 Ken65 !
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
Do your BEST...nobody can take that away from you.

Time for an update, Boys and Girls:

Motor is assembled and back in the frame...WooHoo!

Took the front end back apart to install the fork ears and cleaned up the front wheel, it came out very nice. Has a Conti Twin tire just like the back...

The speedo drive had some paint missing, so removed what was remaining and gave it a couple coats of caliper paint...

Had the fork ears chromed and ordered short blicker stems from Z1.net, they have a high quality finish on them....

I'm scratching my head on what parts I'm missing to attach the bucket to the fork ears, believe it's a rubber grommet but the fiche is not clear, unless I have the wrong bucket?  Thats the thing with basket cases, you never know if wrong parts got thrown in there!

Steve-o, send me those beautiful fork ears so I can show you how to put em together.

No, seriously.  I think there are three different rubber bushings that go on each side...the one you have, one between the ear and it's odd flap on the inside and then one more inside the bucket...not sure though cuz I have a kz650 and its hacked together with not necessarily correct parts.

Also seriously, if you know where I can get a clean pair of those ears, lmk, cuz I bent the #$%* outta mine failing at rolling burnouts inside an abandoned warehouse with a very slippery floor.
If it works good, it looks good...

Hey Sean.....I bought 4 rubber bushings but I think I need two more, trying to get it right, ya know?

This basket case came with none of it, he musta had aftermarket fork ears on it.  I got lucky, bought these for $100 but then spent $80 chroming em.

These guys in the UK sell repops, but I waited for months for them to be back in stock (was to be March)

Apparently the '76 KH500 uses the same ears

I wonder if my kz has a triple front end...without measuring I would swear those are identical to whats on my kz...

oh well, good to know I wrecked a good pair of rare ears #$%*in' around being silly.  Thanks for the info.

Got some parts in the mail today and now it all makes sense...

There is a rubber dampener that attaches to the bucket and then the collar goes on.  I had 1 extra dampener but had to order another [$11.50]

Then it goes together like this....

So, it needs 3 rubber dampners to tame the vibration in the turn signals... what do they have to do to for mirrors, or were you never suppose to worry whith what was behind you? :)
