CB350 twin - reinstalling the starter

I have a CB350 twin that's been sitting in my basement for about three years. The PO - in an effort to "remove extra weight" for a "cafe racer build" - had removed the starter and its sprocket & chain, and plugged the hole. Then he couldn't get it to run correctly and had to move, so into my basement it went.

Skip ahead a couple of years and now I've finally got some time to mess with this thing. I drained the oil, removed the side cover, removed the plug, installed the starter motor, then its sprocket and chain.

How tight should the starter chain be? Should there be some slack or should it be pretty snug?
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

Never mind - got it sorted out.
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

Chain is usually pretty slack
