74 550K Seat Lock Post
« on: April 17, 2013, 10:32:05 PM »
Hello All,

I'm building a seat pan for my 74 550K, and getting to the point where I can't go further until I find a seat post. It's been on my list for 10mos.  I thought it'd be easier to locate. I was able to buy the "rubber bumper grommets" from Honda, but no luck on the seat lock male post.

Does anyone have an extra or know where I can buy one?

I wonder why that item isn't listed on the US site.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Don't know, but David Silverspares established a US store last year, I think it was. Met them at the Mid Ohio Swap meet. They have probably not the same Inventory over in US, so most likely they have adapted the website to their inventory?

Thanks Guys! After you showed me that one, I found it on ebay as well. I just sent an email to David Spares' US Site to see if he has it in the states. The one on ebay is $29.00 + $6.00 shipping. I'd get it on Tues.

The one you linked me to is less, but they don't give you a shipping cost until you've checked out. It could be $35.00 in shipping and I'd wish I would've bought the used one!

Thanks Again!
