Forum Section - not technical discussion but SOHC
« on: April 20, 2013, 05:03:54 PM »
Which is the proper forum section to talk about aspects of the sohc bikes that are not technical?  Example, I want to ask a couple of questions regarding history and want to vent about an item I tried to sell locally and had a very bad experience.  Both related to sohc but are don't fit in the tech category.

Right here is fine Prospect.  If you had a bad experience with a transaction with a fellow member, then you would post in the " BAD SELLERS " section.   ;)  Vent away brother.........  ;D

The Open Forum is always a good place to post if you're not sure where your topic should go.  This is a SOHC4 forum, after all, so even if your post could technically go in the "SOHC/4 Bikes" forum, it's still going to get plenty of attention in the Open Forum.  Posts in the SOHC/4 Bikes forum don't necessarily have to be technical in nature, but they should be specific to sohc4 bikes in general, or to a particular sohc4 bike.

A question about the history of sohc4 bikes would be fine in the SOHC/4 Bikes section.  A post venting about a bad selling experience, even if it was a sohc4 you were selling, should go in the open forum because the main subject is the bad experience and not the bike.

Thanks for the replies. I've calmed down a bit after a rare bad selling experience. Let's just say that people don't read ads and just look at the picture thinking all that is in the picture is for sale. Then they are pissed because I wasted their time.
