brad, we have discussed this at great length and i maintain that the transnonerator shift boot will have ZERO effect on the mechanical operation of a motorcycle. it is purely aesthetic!

Yes Purely aesthetic, but, as i said earlier, in the sub-zero RPM range it plays an important factor in reducing crank flobble, as it induces transverse fibrulations through the transnonerator.  If torn or cracked (or, in my case, dry rotted as a result of the ozone absorbtion) it will not fit its mating surface (which resides in the middle carbon diaphragm) and therefore allow mediation of the temperate region in the semi-hemi power curve.  Rejetting will help you in this situation, but only until 1.75 throttle.

bowl of rice my friend, bowl of rice...

Ah, ha! So you're the one who writes all those assembly manuals for kids toys.  ;D
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

No joke guys, this thread is freakin' hillarious!  Even though some of the shot's were aimed at me, it's all good.  I especially liked the soap box thing- good one guys.

I just didn't want a bunch of guys riding this newbie like you've been riding me.  My attempts to nip it in the bud kinda backfired though as you immediately started slamming me again.  Oh well, I'm learning to live with it.

Cheapo, what did you say that was edited out?  It seemed to prompt a lot of other responses.

JP-- personally, i draw a line between making fun of a specific person and poking fun at generalities.

CBJ---maybe you could make a custom bobber/chopper/cafe bike out of a YAMAHA trombone, piano, and POS 400, but i can guarantee that your mouthpiece won't fit on your Honda. only real professionals like the OCC guys can mix #$%* up all crazy like that.  :-\
