now dorna has control of world superbike the manufacturers options are looking limited . superbike will be dumbed down , electronics will be limited . if you want to develop new technology it will have to be in moto gp .

The race is April 21st.  Maybe we could make this a stop on the Rally 3.0?

The last time (several years now)we were at Laguna for the GP the transportation system out of the track was over taxed. They were in the midst of a serious heat wave and people were dropping like flies waiting hours for a bus out. Bloody awful.

It's one of my favorite places, but that year it was HOT.

That does sound bloody awful !! I really want to see the corkscrew in person though  :) And I like the track layout in general. Before Austin it looked like the only viable NA round to me.

Laguna offers elevation change and is a roadrace circuit, but it has to be tight for these GP riders. It's a cool place for a motorcycle race fan, you'll love it, plus you're near Monterey and a gorgeous area. Like everywhere else though don't plan on getting close enough to rub elbows with any of the riders...unless it's by accident.

That was a bad year at Laguna. Like you said crazy heat and the first year of a new transportation system made for a bad day for most fans. I always ride in so I didn't have to deal with the bus snafu but spoke to many who did.

It's much better now and you'll have a great time at Seca.

Next year WSBK as well just like old times.
