Broken?   ;D
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

A Russian comb? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

it looks to me like a handmade gauge; that is, something somebody used when fabricating some kind of parts to check if they had the right size.

What those parts could be I have no idea.

Looks like it might be a gauge for checking the lengths of the rods for a music box.  How big is it?

Too much of a variance in the length of the tangs to measure the cylindrical music boxes I know of.

honestly to me it looks like it's related to food prep.   the surface is ridged like a mandolin, like you're going to be sliding something across it directionally.  it's angled down like a slide, and on the bottom is a guard plate that looks like it's made to have a big bowl tucked under it.
