That's a bit harsh Dusty, even if there is an element of truth in it! The (only) benefit of cracking two vertebrae and crushing two discs is that once a week I visit my pretty little 25 year old vietnamese physiotherapist, Huong, and she gives me the best massage, paid for of course, by my good friends at veterans affairs! Cheers, Terry. (ex-Idiot)  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Now I never jumped out of perfectly good plane but I have done the dope on a rope from a Helecopter. Terry I too have done the back smash. Mine was the IDIOT deal. I smashed a show winning lowered truck with all the hydraulics to go into a mountain wall after a night of heavy drinking at about 75 mph  :o . Broke every major bone on the left side of my body and crushed two discs and smashed one vertebre  :o . Took quite awhile before I was back on a bike much less walking.

Only I don't get massage deal,  :-[

Well Dusty, you're assuming of course that I was a volunteer. When I became a member of the Regiment I noticed that all the other guys had little dymo labels on the back of their helmets with their name, or nickname, and some snappy slogan like "Death from Above" etc, so I put one on mine that read "Stop pushing mate!", ha ha! Well, I thought it was funny, but you had to be there...........  ;D

G'Day Junkie, I'm on the Eastern side, there's bugger-all in the West apart from Perth, all the other capitals are on this side. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I use to ride the rear wheel all the time on the 71 750. It was bone stock. Just roll off in first gear and pop it up.
Could keep it up as long as I wanted. I will say that we had a good stretch of disserted road to practice on and the first time
up I almost lost it. After that I got use to throttle contro :)
