Helmet options
« on: July 26, 2006, 01:23:46 PM »
I know I should get a full face. But, I have an open face pyrotec that I use in my
driving and really would like to get one of those bubble shields someone listed on here.
But I can't see how I could make it work on my helmet. The pyrotec is made by Bell
but the new Bells all seem to have the same visor and it looks like a pivot is not
avalible. Anyone dealt with this? Thanks.

If you remove the standard Bell visor are there three snaps under there.  I'm guessing there are.

If so, any of the snap on shields that use 3 snaps should work.

Thanks, I'll check. Now I need to find out where I saw those vintage bubble shields at.

Ahhhhh.  I always heard that style had a lot of optical distortion because of the curved plastic.

Good luck finding a mirror one.  It WOULD be cool though!

Both are real close. I thought I found the link on here. The fellow had the shields like listed from both of your links and
a flip up attachment too. I'm a hunting for it now.
