It would no doubt take quite a few but getting any of them show up on time or at all, much less as a group makes the point mute...

Yeah you're right, I meant "moot".

I used to play drums in a band myslef.  Play a little bass now and then these days.   Singers are definetly the WOST.  IMHO of course...

I haven't played in a couple of years now. My kit just sits in the basement collecting dust. Never played professionally, just goofing off with friends and playing with myself...er...I mean by myself  ;D I play a lot of different instruments - poorly. Been thinking of picking up the guitar again. Maybe take some lessons. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?  :D :D

Mine too.  I finally have my kit up for sale.

Yep, that's me too.  I play bass poorly and by myself in my basement.  I do enjoy it when I get around to doing it though.

The thing about musicians is, they can keep time but very, very few can actually TELL time!  ;D ;)

Cheers,
Steve

Bass, Me too! Actually, I haven't played in a REALLY long time, but still have my "Axe". It's a late 50's Kalamazoo Epiphone, that looks like a Gibson 335. I used to live in Kalamazoo, former home of Gibson (They moved to Nashville), so this one is straight out of the plant. Gibson moved Epiphone to Japan in the '60s, and it became their "lower quality" brand. When I was growing up, the town was full of incredible musicians, and there were really nice instruments everywhere. In the early '80s, I got to know a Gibson instrument maker/Bluegrass musician. He was a little odd..you'ld go to his house, open up the refrigerator, and inside, there would be motorcycle parts! He just thought the shelves were handy as he rebuilt his bike in the livingroom! Guess he didn't really care about food.
By the way, my Bass (named Ike) is being played...it's on loan to a fellow Honda guy who really DOES play!
