Nope you take a girl you don't like to the movies. Sprinkle some popcorn down your pants. Whan the crabs get thirsty and go out for a drink, Switch seats with her.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I thought you filled the bath with water, threw some rocks up one end, sit in the water, take the plug out and when all the water is gone, the crabs think the tides out and scurry into the rocks... :o 8) ;D

Right now it's the fscking armadillo that's digging holes all over my yard that's pissing me off. >:(
But the armadillo is smart, he only comes out when he's sure I'm asleep.

Last year it was the racoons who stripped a 3x3ft square of shingles off my roof...

Before that it was squirrels living in the eaves of the workshop.

The deer, rabbits, foxes, skunks, opossums, and coyotes are so far behaving themselves.

Same here! I've dispatched FIFTEEN of the buggers but new ones keep showing up. Some thieving ba$tard stole my trap!  :o In the middle of the afternoon!  :o  :o Tempted to bury a bear leg-hold trap next to the varmit trap next time...  :o  :o  :o

Seriously though, I'll probably mix up two bags of concrete to anchor the varmit trap so some low-life can't just carry it off.  8)

I was on Rt 70 somewhere west of Indian town when I had to take a piss early in the morning. This friggin creature pops out of bush, an Armadillo, seen them in pictures, none in NY. Ran like hell back to the car. The AC dried my pants.

I saw something about using laxatives to get rid of moles. Going to get some and give that a try at my mothers house.

I've also been dumping my cat's poop in my mom's backyard where her property meets the property of the people who live behind her. I've read that the scent would scare off the rodents. The truth of the matter is I just don't like the guy who lives behind her house, getting rid of the rodents would be a bonus.

At my house it was the neighbors kid. He never checked the oil in his car and destroyed the bearings. Haven't seen him or the car in 2 months. Been a quiet 2 months.

Possums and drug dealers.  The possums can stay.  I'd like to pop a cap in the dealers ass though. (I',m sure that is no longer a hip saying)

Are you live-trapping them? I haven't put out a trap yet, I figure I'll catch everything but an armadillo! ::)

Yes, live trapping with humane "cage" traps to prevent harming "by-catch" (neighbors cats, rabbits, etc...) then "dispatching" just the armadillos with a pellet to the head. It is illegal to relocate armadillos here in Florida due to their "non-native" status, but entirely legal to "dispose of properly".

As if we don't already have enough "non-natives" to begin with...

Had a raccoon on the porch this morning at 4am.
When the wife threw things (like my shoes, boots, walking stick etc etc)
it just hissed at her and laughed in her face say, "Girl, you are one bad shot"

I fear it is becoming a nightly visitor and shooting a gun that close to the house is not a good idea.

The dog can't be bothered to chase it off.

any good ideas to discourage it's return?

Maybe feed it exlax laced food, think that would work?  I am told aspirin can kill a cat. Wonder what it would do to a coon?

I do have a bang stick that I use in the annual gator hunt.... hmmmm....

.357 might be a little overkill though... might scare the neigbors too!

I have dispatched more than one armadillo with a full-size crossbow. One made the mistake of strolling across the yard one weekend afternoon...

I have read that Racoons are repelled by the smell of mint. Maybe an urban legend.

My Blazer had been sitting in the backyard since the wife broke the engine.

After 4 months the rear right tire sank down until the frame was sitting on the ground.

I finally acquired a new engine for it and went to pull the vehicle out of the back yard. I jacked up the rear right to get it out of the hole.

At this time I realised that something had been digging there. I jacked it up far enough to put some 2x4's down and finally got the truck moved.

I realised that an armadillo had dug down under the tire until it collapsed in on it killing itself. The armadillo had effectively run itself over.

I have a blue heron that wants to eat my koi. I put up a decoy but think it might actually be.....mating season. Frigging thing is a dinosaur bird. I have scared it off 3 times now.

Will this also work for skunks, possums, mice,
unhappy wifes etc etc?
