What size wire does Honda use in the harnesses of the 750s? My guess is that 16 gauge would be the closest. I need to replace a few pieces and want to purchase the right size the first time.

If anyone has or knows where a NOS harness might be found for a 75/76 750F please let me know. Tried Service Honda - discontinued - and checked David Silver Spares - not on their list.

Try this:      https://www.partsnmore.com/cat_index.php?model=cb750_sohc&category=electrical      They have one for a k series. You may be able to make that work.

Although it may not be on David Silver's list, it may be worth a phone enquiry as his stock changes very quickly and he does not always have everything listed.

OK guys, someone has to know what gauge wire is used in the 750 harness. Please save me multiple trips to the parts store.

How hard is it to take a piece of wire with you to the store and compare it with what's available?

Yeah, ok. I get lazy and stupid sometimes. 16 gauge it is (I used my old rectifier). It seems to always be a chase when looking for parts. Defense mechanism to limit the chase I guess. Only took 2 stops this time. I consider that luck.
Thanks guys.
