My Wide Glide lives ;D The stator and voltage regulator went out about 8 or 9 months ago. I know, I know should of had it fixed a long time ago. But when you have 2 other bikes to ride ( the CB's ) I just wasn't in any hurry to tear into the one that's broke down. So use to riding the 750's took me a little bit to get use to the hog again. Love the sound of the CB750fours, but still theirs nothing quite like the potato,potato thumping sound of a Harley Evo V-twin ;)

As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Mileage is little over 30K.

Higher than I would have thought, looks super clean. But I know how you care for your toys!

Its a 97 WG. I bought it near the end of 1999 and it had about 10K on the clock. Its really been a good bike, no trouble with it until the stator went out last year.

I bet she would to Jerry. She was such a hottie back in the day. And still looks good 40 years later at the age of 56.

Nice lookin' Glide!  I know all too well that you have to split your time between the CB's and the "other" bikes.  I just got my BMW back on two wheels yesterday as well.  No "potato" but it does provide a more relaxed thump.  8)

Nice glide dhall, I to love the vtwin sound.  Here a few big bored HD I have built.





I have moved from the HD vtwin to a Ducati, but still has the vtwin rumble. :D

Thanks Jerry,  Both have built engines that are putting out 110 hp and 110 tq, man do they move.  I think a little "guilty pleasure" hardley davidson thread would be nice.

That's pretty strong! What did you do to them? I enlarged my 2003 88 to 95 and installed a 204 cam kit. The 95 kit by itself wouldn't take my arrogant buddy's VTX1800R so I had to do the cam  ;)  He said "it doesn't sound like it's running right". He does not understand what a cam sounds like ;) I said we should punch them and see how it's running. It was all over after 3rd  :) We stopped for gas and I said "You're right, it's not running for #$%*, huh!" Stock was 57hp. I had it set up with the Race Tuner on the dyno. It came out to 84hp and 94lb. Much nicer/stronger than my stock 2001. Stock head, K&N intake kit with V&H 2 to 1 Pro Pipe HS. The curves mirror the 103 curve in the Harley catalogues but slightly above it. How streetable and what road mileage you getting? Mine's at 42,000 miles and has been totally reliable. Time to change the oils and tires for a 4000 mile ride in May. Just wish they had a couple thousand more rpms  ;D  They hit the limiter way too quickly.

Jerry,  I am running high compression 103 pistons with Woods TW9-6 cam.  Just like the cb's power comes from the head.  I had John Hildreth do my headwork, 1.9 intakes and 1.61 exhaust, full port and flow tested, fuel management with a PCIII.
