Thanks for posting the pic Bob. You rode the CB right after me so I didn't get to hear your impressions of it.  Care to share?

We were right behind you when you were pulling away from Honda Blvd on your CB500 at the stop lights.  I was right behind the lead Honda rider and was wishing I had my camera out at that time.

As previously posted in "on the road", the following are my comments about the CB1100: Loved the CB1100 as it was so much like our SOHC-4's and was really smooth.  The CTX700N is their "cruiser" version of the new 700 powerplant, and although the motor hummed quite respectively, I'm not now much of a cruiser fan.  It's RPM range is less than the CB1100 (6,500 vs 9,500 I believe) but it does seem to pull adequately throughout.  However, I still liked the extra zip and broader range on the 1100.  Also, the 1100 felt more "familiar" to my body.

Yes I saw the pack in my vibrating mirrors  :o.  Bob, I'm in agreement with your comments on the CB1100, silky smooth, comfortable & vaguely familiar is right on.  A great engine, I could live with one in my garage, but will have to wait for a red one  :-\

Hahaha! Ya. Seems to be a lack of photos. I'll mount up the gopro and take video too. ;) lol
Have to finish my engine rebuild first. Hopefully back on the road mid Aug.

I was at Haugens but none of you were there. Other than a really nice red 1970's Suzuki 500 2 stroke, mine was the the only classic bike there. Several people commented on it.

Was at Haugens tonight. So was Bob with his 350. It got a lot of attention. Funny, with all the HD cruisers surrounding us.

How many more days have you now got? ???
