Look close at the black/white wire at the coils there is a small little jumper wire that goes from one coil to the other. The main wire comes from the kill sw. and feeds the first coil and then the little jumper feeds the other and some times it gets loose and only one coil works. If that checks OK then look in to the yellow or blue wire from the points. Check that and report back.

All wires look good as do the points, getting spark on 1 and 4 not  2 and 3.What should I look for or try next. The coils are original I'm pretty sure.

So it is the yellow wire set! You could switch condensers and see if it changes. Make sure the points are not burned and that the condenser lead is isolated from the baseplate. There are some phenolic washers that are for that purpose

Everything i have checked so far seems OK.Today i took off the tank just to get a better view of all the wires. When i went to pull the fuel lines off the petcock with it in the stop position,it had a slow leak on the back one.I have good spark on all 4 cylinders so maybe after sitting for so long the 2 and 3 floats might be stuck with the fuel dripping this whole time.I never noticed or smelled any gas this whole time. The line from the dripping line goes in between 3 and 4.I hope this sort off makes sense to somebody willing to help me out.
