CB400 Levers question
« on: May 06, 2013, 04:34:48 PM »
Does anyone know if the clutch and brake levers, (just the levers) from 92-08 CB400 will work with a 75-77 CB400f? I found a set of aftermarket short adjustable levers for the 89-08 CB400. I want to get them and use them on my 75 CB400F SS controls. I'm building a cafe racer and these would be a sweet addition to it. If anyone knows if the levers are the same please let me know.

thanks,

Go to Ebay and look at listings for both and you will see they are different and probably won't interchange. I know for sure the brake lever is different. and the top recess is different on the clutch lever also.

I did that before I even posted this. They looked slightly different but you never know if they're actually showing you a pic of the correct levers. Thanks for the info though, I'm a lil bummed but found a beautiful set of aftermarket cnc aluminum levers with adjustable master cyl but I'll have to get new electric controls if I go that route and was trying to avoid that. Dime city has some but they were not really the look I was going for.
