I can meet either coming from or going to Canada in Niagara Falls, NY, less than an hour from me.

Tripps,

Can you pick up at Buffalo then head for Erie or Cleveland?  If yes, then maybe Larry can pick up GZ in Albany and deliver to Brooze at the races.

Finally some momentum. The downside is that no way is my 550 ready within the next couple weeks. Looks like I'll be on the GoldWing. But it's a Honda 4 with one overhead cam per cylinder bank.

Ditto Bankerdanny. Becken I am in Detroit and can help get that lizard here so that he can continue his trek thru the midwest and beyond. I need at least a couple days advance notice so that I can  joggle my work schedule.
Thanks old school for getting involved and helping out. Too bad that lizard won't be here for the Dreamcruise this year. That lizard would be in Lizard Heaven breathing that dragon breath on all those people and vehicles. Maybe next year.
Will continue to watch for future post on the lizards travels. Also Becken I can travel during the week to make this happen.
Shout out to Brooze72 and Tripps best regards.

I've been working on Oliver (my '73). Got the dual disk setup transferred from the '72 as well as the turn signal mod I did so my dash indicator works with the led bulbs.  Fixed some minor electrical things.  Now I'm finally getting to the rust in Olivers's tank. If I don't get that done in time, I'll just keep on using the '72's tank.
I've been riding Oliver all the time since his resurrection   last summer, and except for a couple of flats and the couple of hours I had him down yesterday on the brake transfer, he's been ready to go.  We start school on the 3rd of September, so if GZ arrives after that, it will mean only weekends for me.

Bruce:
We are still working on my in-law's place up north in Brethren, not far from M-3, which I'm assuming you plan to take from Traverse City to Manistee. Maybe their place could be a place to spend the night if the timing works out.  I don't know if you are going to take M-24 or M-15 up to Bay City but either works for me.  I will join in either down here or up north, where ever I'm at at the time. I don't have any internet connection up there so if I am up there when GZ goes through I will let you or Sean know so you can call me to set up my join in point and time.

We need to get Pimpzilla to the Henry Ford and get a picture of him on the K0 750 they have on display.

Good chatter here Gents!  This relay is a series if core riders who jump in and make connections to the core riders ahead of them and after them. All the more fun when each leg is ridden by more than one rider!  So keep up the good work of linking together to get the little beasty down the road!

It's hard to say the exact routes that will be traveled. It's really up to the riders on the road to link up with others then figure out the best/funnest way to get to the next way point. For Day 1 on the Michigan Monster Ride map, the lines are more suggestions than anything. Connect with others headed your way and arrange a meeting point and rough time, be it on M15 or M24.  Same with Day 3.  If M22 makes more sense than 31 (hmmm ya think?), then lets do it!!

I'm thinking somewhere a little west of Saranac lake. As far as a date I'll have to check. I'm off 9/1-2 so that would be my ideal days to drop off

Cleveland here...

Watching this thread - any thoughts on dates Tripps (hello Tripps - we met at the Around the Corner Bar in Lakewood last run through Cleveland) will be picking up GZ and heading to Cleveland?  I can do evenings during the week and anytime weekends, or a quick run to pick up GZ during a weekday if Tripps comes in, but won't advance GZ until that night or weekend.

Let me know gents!

Great Beckens if I may make a suggestion send the folks signed up in your area a personal message to arrange dates so that we can make this happen when GZ hits.

Yes, I can, and will handoff in Erie or at Ohio/PA line.

Hey Art! Boy, what are the chances, 2 years ago, after meeting up with Art and the Michigan riders, I went up and visited a friend in upper Michigan. On the way home a couple days later, I'm riding through Detroit, somewhat unsure of how to get to the bridge, I hear a horn toot, and there is Art in his pickup, waving at me. We chatted a bit, and he led me to the bridge.

AWSOME WORK GENTS!! I think we have a ride for PimpZilla all the way from Albany to Chicago!

Let's see if I got this right.  Please correct the riders/handoffs and maybe post some ideas on dates...

Apostrophe to Laracords between Utica and Watertown (date TBD)
Laracords to Brooze at Mosport (if possible time wise else ??)
Brooze to Tripps at Niagara/Buffalo (any trouble getting over the boarder Brooze?)
Tripps to Rio & Becken at OH/PA boarder
Rio & Becken and the rest of the N.Ohio riders to Artsqu & Dave
Artsqu & Dave bring him to Motown and join in the Michigan Monster Ride
Monster Ride ends with BankerDanny riding off into the Chicago sunset with PimpZilla

Is that about right??
