If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

So Bankerdanny will get GZ to Nick in Milwaukee early next week. I am not available until AM on Friday the 27th. Then willing to travel west or north.............but no contacts from Minnesota or others in between. If I have a destination, and the weather is dry, I could travel for a LONG weekend.

I have a lot on my plate for the next week..........so if someone could coordinate, I'll help to deliver the lizard.

I haven't gotten involved so far as other activities regulated the bike to the back burner this summer but it looks like I will be around the weekend of the 27-29th.  If you want to come west maybe we could meet up.  I developed a nerve problem in my elbow and wrist this year that limits me to about 200 miles (found that out on a 400 mile trip this summer, my arm goes numb). :(  If the weather is nice and you want to take a little trip westward let me know what you think.  If someone comes up with a better option that's fine too.  We can wing it and see if the weather cooperates, I don't have any interest in riding in rainy, crappy weather.  I don't see me getting it beyond Minneapolis as the following weekends are booked for me but it seems there are no riders anyways.

OK............A few possibilities for Wisconsin to Twin Cities........

the goldenarrow map shows SIXTHWISCONSIN in Milwaukee; SCAMAGEDON in Madison; ME -OLD SCRAMBLER- in Cascade; DB22 near LaCrosse; and we have TEWS19 in Waukesha willing to help.

I just heard from SRUST58 in Minneapolis so we have a destination. I have also heard from Jerry H. near Green Bay and Malcolmgb who I also think is from the Green Bay area.

Travel Dates for me look good on 9/27 to 9/30. If SIXTH or TEWS get GZ to me during the week....Wednesday? .......I would route myself to LaCrosse and ask DB22 and SRUST58 to plan a handoff on Sat or Sun the 28-29th.

If Jerry H. and/ Malcolm want to ride down near my place on Friday AM (or Sat depending on weather) they could ride west with me to Fond du Lac or beyond. Scamagedon is welcome to join the ride at Hwy 82 & I-39 and ride west on 82.

If anyone has other plans that will work for most riders.......PLEASE speak up..........and use this page so everyone knows whats brewing.

Dennis, If Nick's eye hasn't healed up enough to make him comfortable riding to you I have no problem bringing GZ to him for a meet and greet and then bringing the monster the rest of the way up to you.

My preference would be Tues, Wed or Thurs because I will need to play work catch up on Monday. I will take the afternoon off and ride him up.

If GZ is near Tews (or other pick up spot Southern part of state) I could get him to Scrambler on the 21st or 22nd this week,   or I could drive down to Dennis's and tag along for part of the handoff if he goes on Sunday the 29th.   Sorry - that's pretty much my only free days.

B-Danny.......Wednesday may work......Thursday AM I will be at the Milwaukee airport at 9 AM. We could meet near there a little later. I don't think GZ would mind a 50-mile ride in my Explorer.......with a stop along the way at two bike shops to get some parts.  Lets watch the weather. I have work commitments at a courthouse on Tuesday and late on Thursday.

Jerry H........thanks for the offer...............Will watch the weather and let you know if Sunday the 29th will work. I am located about 7 miles south of Plymouth but could ride north to you if Skamagedon is not available.  Hwys 54 and 10 go west last I looked.

DB22 and Srust.........Any more riders in Minnesota besides Nate in Austin? GZ is coming your way..........likely between the 27th and 29th..........He seems to be anxious to get to the west coast. When you get to the end of the road in the mid-west, the USPS or Big Brown could deliver. Watch for messages on the PNW page.

I can make the run from Milwaukee to Cascade on the 28th but can't ride during the week... Christmas advertising production in full swing. I ride that route up hwy 28 all the time on the way to Elk Hart Lake. Its a great road all the way up. Maybe Nick and I could make the run but whatever works out is fine with me.

I talked to Dave today and he is going to meet me at Archie's Restaurant here in Davison a bit after 10 am tomorrow.  Unfortunately Dave has to work on Saturday and will not be going up to Standish with us.  If Danny and Sean are meeting me in Davison then I will hang out at Archie's until they show up.

I could do either 27th or 28th anytime of the day. Tews and I could ride together on the 28th but that is much later than I am hearing. Whatever works out is fine with me. If Z is well past Milwaukee by then thats ok too.

So I am assuming the Michigan crew is getting wet............but will get GZ to Bankerdanny.............and he will connect with Tews (Nick) and or Sixthwisconsin and move GZ to me during the week.

The weather says showers on Friday the 27th................so I will plan to ride west on Saturday AM and head toward LaCrosse to hook-up with DB22.  I heard from Johnie in Oshkosh and may stop to see his bikes. Jerry H. may also show up for a few miles. I should get near LaCrosse in the early afternoon.

I just got back home after a wild weekend with Danny, Sean and Pimple!  I split off from them at M-55 & M-31to head back home.  Danny had Pimple strapped to his Wing last I saw of them.  They should have met up with Bruce in New Haven and be on their way home by now.

Yep MJ, they caught up to me about 2 hours after they left you.  Hopefully we'll get to ride together again another year!  Sean and Danny tell me your new ride is quite sweet!

Anyway, We rode another 90 minutes and stopped for lunch.  PimpZilla rode on my wing/sidecar rig all that way.  My Mrs and my dog were also aboard.

After lunch, PZ took up his perch on Danny's bike as Danny and Sean took off South and my clan headed East.

GZ is in Chicago. Word he was coming must have gotten out, traffic into and through the city was flying.

What's your schedule next week Nick?
