need help in finding oem style extended brake hose
« on: May 08, 2013, 11:25:57 AM »
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction!!!!!
I have a 1976 cb750. The front end has been extended. I need a 9" over stock front brake hose. It needs to be 23" in total length without the metal line that connects to the caliper. I need an oem style hose......not a braided line.

You have a couple of options here

1. Hit a vendor, such as Dime city cycles and call them up and tell them just what you need

2. Hit up slingshot cycles in the services section. Good guy, good product, offers rubber or stainless in any lengths, fittings, clocking you name it for a price

3. Call an industrial hydraulic hose place near you. They will usually have the ability to replicate any line of just about all types within 15 mins or so. Just ask if they have smaller dies and fittings, but they probably will. Bring the old line to match up fitting size, style and clocking to make them like you
