What plug is this for?
« on: May 08, 2013, 12:48:23 PM »
Hi all, what plug is this for?

Also im going to build a really simple wire harness. Minimal, starter, headlight tail, solid state rectifier, tooth fuses(not the barreled ones).. Can anyone point me in the direction? I have no idea where to start building the right wires, are there certain types of wires for each part? Thanks.

Start with a schematic !    From there wire essentials first and go one leg at a time keep your fuses small, you blow no damage! No starter? You need a headlight. I would keep that separate fuse. Running lamps separate too
I happen to like the solid state reg/rectifier setup to keep things neat points are more tolerant to low voltage.

Before we can help you need to provide info, much more info

Also in my personal opinion the best way to do it is to trim out circuits being deleted by taking the wire out of all the stock unwrapped harnesses. Relocate/update/replace components and see if stock is long enough/adequate. Easiest and by far cheapest without half assing it

If the bike is a 550k, that is the circut block for the regulator/rectifier

Sorry. It's a 1978 cb750f.

Okay I've been looking up simple wiring diagrams, my harness looks like this now, deleted everything i didnt want. Some wires are sharing the same wire.. Should every one have its own wire(s)?? Also where should i start? From the starter out? Ignition and out?? Not too sure..

Here's my bike in the making
