Thanks for your help...may as well stick with original assembly. Would you recommend the eBay clutch or the cycle x or another? My metal plates seem okay...just have the 6 similar disks plus the one outer one. Also, maybe this is a good time to do hondamans oil trick I read about somewhere?

Just an update. Put in 6 of main type and 1 with the wider ears of clutches from vintagecb750 website and the high performance clutch springs with some rotella 15w40 and a new left control module (bit tricky feeding the wires through handlebar but doable). Took er for a spin and it rips like never before. No slipping at 8000 rpm like it always used to over 6000. Instant hook up. Thanks for the advice everyone. It wasn't as bad of a job as I thought.
