Flag it and make him remove your pic.
 It happens now and then in our powder coating business. CL posters will use pictures of my work to try and make you believe it is the quality they are putting out instead of showing stuff they have actually coated. If it happens I run an ad in their area CL as though it was their ad saying. "The worked pictured is not actually mine or the quality of work I put out. My work is not good enough to post here and I am a scumbag thief by using other quality coaters work as a reference to my own......". I use their phone number and contact info in the ad.

Eh, eh he's not representing it as his work or anything, he even says that.

I once had a guy use a bunch of my carb pics and then saying that HE rebuilt them all and that it was his work.  THAT is out of line.  Imagine how I felt after watermarking hundreds of pictures after that.  Yeah, that wasn't fun.

would anyone here trust buying a bike sight unseen, especially if the seller uses a photo of another bike just to get attention?.. seems dishonest and im not sure id trust giving such an ad a second look?

Sure, have done it many times.  No regrets.  But they always look better in the pics, just know it going in.

Ive gotten pics of bikes and bought all of them without seeing them in person.  But I do ask for lots of details.

for sure! When I was into KZs, i had a guy send me pics and when I got there  I was like wtf.  Then he asked if I wanted to take it for a ride and I laughed and said I pass.
