750a tach plug?
« on: May 12, 2013, 09:39:54 AM »
Does the A come with a domed tach plug.. That has a sort of tit or tail on the inside end? I have one that I suspect is from an A.
Very curious now, cuz an ebay seller thinks its a Webco part..I think not.  Deluded..he thinks its worthy of a 120 $ BIN price

My plug is domed - maybe 1/8" tall - or a little more.  Certainly not flat!

The A cover has no gear/shaft installed.  Just a plug.

That is what i have, the tit is visible in top photo..it would only work with no drive gear..hence..A only..

The covers are all the same between the A and the K including the seal. The diameter of the shaft on the drive gear and the tit on the plug are the same and both the cable or the plug are held in by the screw. There are several honda applications like that, like some of the small dirt bikes as the old SL100 where they just substitute a plug for a cable
