             cbj, That IS quite an impressive ride. I don't think I've ever heard the Godden name before but, I don't think I'll forget it too quickly after seeing THAT bike! Appreciate the post, I always like to see motorcycles like that one. Awesome piece of motorcycling history.  Later on, Bill

Godden engines are fairly common in speedway racing bikes (Jawa is still the most used type), I have heard they make a V-2 but have never seen one before.

Its a grass track sidecar motor. Think its based on Weslake (maybe Weslake?)
