Euro Bars fitment question
« on: May 13, 2013, 03:23:42 PM »
Hey has anyone successfully mounted Euro bars on a CB750F I know the super bike bars will fit but I'm looking for less rise and more pull back that the Euro bars offer. The issue is the center of the Euro bars is 4.5 inches wide. Super bike bars are 4.75 inches wide. My triple tree clamps are 4.75 inches wide measured from outside to outside. I may be able to file the top claps to give enough relief for the clamp to tighten down if needed at all. Anybody else have any experience with this. I don't have the bars if front of me to check I'm looking to order a set and want to make sure they will fit. Thanks for any help

Mine will be going on the F this weekend. Shouldn't have a fitment issue.

Need a better, newer points cover gasket? How about rubber washers for the headlight bucket? Click the link below:

Have you tried to fit them yet? And are your 4.5 inches in the center? I wounder how much they can vary from manufacturers The bars I'm looking into are from Niche Cycle Supply. The dimensions they provided me are 4.5 inches for the center 2 inches rise from the bottom to the top and 5.5 inches pull back. Is this standard for this kind of bar?

There is no standardization amongst bar names and manufacturers. One companies Euro Bar may be someone else's Superbike or Daytona Touring Bar.

IF it fits in your clamps and you like the bend comes first. Name comes second. Sort of.   :D

That's what I thought. I now live in a small town where there are not any vendors that have them in stock to compare or test fit. I'm a shorter rider so the stock bars on my 75 75F0 are just to tall and wide for me. I need lower with more pull back.

Euro bars as fitted to Hondas for the UK market are a standard. I'm sure DavidSilverSpares stocks them.
