Topic: Looking for cool switched

I am in search of interesting handbar switches (kill, starter, horn, turn, etc) I was shown a cylindrical set that was minimalistic and pretty cool but a ridiculous price.  Does anyone know of a cool set that doesn't look off the shelf at radio shack?

You can get better aftermarket handlebar switches. Look at the chopper websites and the dirt bike catalogues.
Also snowmobiles have some cool stuff too.

I like the posh micro switches.

The only issue I have with the micro switches is they need to be used in conjunction with relays, as they are not designed to handle the DC loads.  They may work for a month or two but will quickly fail from burned or pitted contacts.  Most are rated for AC loading which is far less punishing than DC voltages and current values.

i like  the CB125 left switch. Its all you need, blinker and horn. Thats what i use.

im with cqyqte,,check if they specify a load rating,the stock headlight switches in good condition will handle 60/55 watts max,be prepared to rig relays for dual horns,the flasher circuit should be ok,the kill/run switch might give trouble if its a cheapie,also how water tight are they,like in a light shower?

Honestly, Running relays may be the way to go, Think about the extremely thin gauge wires you could use to hide inside the bars.

Well they list everything in yen but they convert to... a single switch is $40 a piece a double switch is $50 a piece and the bracket that bolts to your bars to locate and drill the holes is $70 but probably not needed I dont think I will get on but anyways that. Is $77. But also tbe e mail I got said,

And yea i agree with relays and bought some last night I plan on 2 double switches one side will be kill switch and head light hi/lo and the other will be start and turn the toggles side ways for the blinkers even tho im just running rear blinkers now ill get it up to put front on in tbe future if I want

The micro switches are really overpriced, you can buy the components for a couple of bucks
The 'Lucas pattern' billet one is stupidly overpriced, $75.00 for a $10.00 switch
