I ordered a new pull throttle cable and right hand switch from www.vintagecb750.com. The cable end will not fit into the switch. It looks like if I file the sides of the ends down a bit it will fit, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue. The site didn't have a push cable in stock, so I ordered a motion pro and it fits fine. Also, I ordered a supposedly oem style throttle tube/sleeve from the same site, and it won't fit into the switch either! The switch is identical to the oem, I have a broken one to compare. Weird...

I filed the end down a bit and it slipped in no problem.

Had the same problem with their throttle sleeve on the 750.

Sent it back.

Ok, I'm glad it wasn't just me. I just noticed that the right hand switch is made to allow the wires to be run outside of the bars, which is convenient. But the jury on the switch until I get everything it switches to work.
