Topic: help with coils

i have my coils off and while they were off i noticed a + and - and my schematic shows coils with blue wire attached to  blue wire to plugs 1&4 and other coil 2&3 i had it set up so i had cylnder 1&4 off blue wire coil and yellow off 2&3 coil and which goes to positive,have them off now

put the neg to the points and the pos to the black/white wire from the loom.

i swapped coils ended up don't know why but bought 4 new plugs even though i swapped with #2 the new plugs have all cylnder's firing,plus i took the crappy ass boots off the accell plug wires and put the stock ends on the accell wires,now back to square 1,after 5 minutes of idling the plugs are sooted black,back to the diagram again,runs great till plugs foul after about 50 miles

Are the plugs black? If yes, maybe too rich

went from 140 main jet to 130,next needle adjustment,also looking for alterinetive to pod filters,stockair box won't fit,so i need some good filters
