Hey everyone. Thanks in advance for any info. I have a cb500 with a 550 swap. Pods, open exhaust, rejetted with 38 pilots and 100 mains. Bike runs pretty good most of the time and I don't really have any trouble. But occasionally I will let it idle for a while, and sometimes it will die out of nowhere and then I have trouble starting it back up until a while afterwards. This might be a common scenario, but I searched and wasn't sure. Is this maybe an issue of too much gas while at idle and it's being flooded?

Thanks again!

Let it idle for a few (5) minutes don't give it any throttle then turn it off and pull the plugs. See if they are black and smell like gas or wet. Oh fix that tail light wire before the rear tire eats it.

Check the park plug cap resistance, they get more resistive with time. You might want to trim the wire back a littl

And check your battery.  The charging system cannot keep up with the drain at idle speeds, so a partially depleted battery will cause the motor to die after idling for a while.
