Interesting. What size is it?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Very nice ;)  I worked in a Bultaco shop back in the day, Sherpas, Alpinas Pursangs--all good bikes.  Remember the commercial, "so that's a Matador"?  How much did you have to give for that sweet looking bike?...Larry

It is a 1970 Matador 250. It came from my buddies estate, he passed on about 6 yrs ago.. I ended up inheriting it....sort of bittersweet..

The father of a couple of friends of mine had a Bultaco just like that, back in the day. Joe, who was my age, rode a Sachs in the local MX races, and Lee, his older brother,(and later my sister's boyfriend) rode a Bultaco 125 flat-track bike. I rode the flat-tracker once. It had been heavily massaged; radical porting, stuffed crank etc. Lee warned me to keep the rpms up, or it would load up. Sure enough, it got loaded up, and then it suddenly cleaned out, and pulled the front wheel straight up! That bike had a wicked power band! :o
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Bull's are great.
Nice looking bike.
I have 6 of them. Let me know if you need any parts?
Love those Akron rims.
The back spark arrestor is very hard to find. I have one like that on the Sherpa T.
Would love to see what the air box looks like I have one I have no idea to what it fits.

It has a mikuni on it..i built that adaptor about 15 years ago....
The gas cap wont come out,and steering damper is stuck. I think i have to put gas in through the fuel line, then turn tank upside down to wet the prongs, and hope it comes off.

Try a heat gun on a very low setting to loosen the cap.  Bittersweet story but it is in good hands now...Larry

The cap turns, but the lugs inside, seem to be stuck on the tank. They turn a bit, but not enough to release.

or a squirt some PB Blaster in through the cap and let it seep in.
I think all my caps have gas tanks to them. Not sure if I have any others.

Does it have the original airbox since it got changed over to a mikuni?

It has a rubber boot off the carb, going to I think a box that comes up to an opening in the seat pan.

I like those olde style dirt bikes. They sure raise an eyebrow.
