I am wanting to run clip ons so I would need shorter cables anyway. Just want to double check because I def like the price on these

The 350 and 400 share most parts, except the obvious.. you know, the stickers that say 350 or 400.  As long as the cables are not for the U.S. '77 model (which had higher handle bars) you should be fine.

they have different part numbers,unless you can see a pair side by side get the correct ones.

Carb cables sould work, length is the only difference. Clutch cable is totally different 400/350.
