no that's later. this is the pre-safety meeting, where we all get to know each other and marvel at how green the phair ground is.

Anybody know who was riding a clean brown 750 off of NW 23rd and whipped a U turn and tool off West bound   Some time around 11:30  to 12:00? Had 2 into 1 for exhaust I think. Sorry was in traffic on NW 23rd, (total road closure) and it just made the traffic not so bad!!

Just found this forum and figured I'd add my name to the list.  I am in Wilsonville.  Recently got a '78 CB550K that is complete and assembled, but needs some TLC.  I hope to do some minimal restoration work so I can ride it this summer.  Then I'll tackle a more complete rebuild over the winter.

if by "clutch issue" you mean the fact that the power from the engine was causing the primary chain to pull the transmission forward in it's mount and make the clutch pushrod adjustment go out, yes.  ;D oh the joys of owning an old brit bike. the only other problem was that the ignition was shorting out to the points cover. had i not given up and diagnosed these things on the road, i'd have made it home on 2 wheels.

Oh so I can choose which bike I ride then, which usually is a weather thing for me. Or comfort since cafe bikes aren't supposed to be comfortable, but we will see. I may have to work at the shop but I am interested in going.

Ah!  :( We're going camping this weekend with a 100 or so of our closest friends.  ::) (Some Oregon Country Faire prelim stuff.) Wish we could do the ride though. Maybe the next one that comes up somewhere.

Have fun and be safe everyone.  ;) :)

The Sang-Froid is a riding club with a short membership list, but an open invitation to all who love to ride.  Check out their website http://www.sang-froidridingclub.com/.  It's set up as a non-profit to promote riding, and amongst other things, they put on http://theonemotorcycleshow.com/ that Paul's bike was in.

Gotta swap my back wheel, but I'm hoping to make it, then maybe head up to Everett the next day for that show.  sounds like an interesting organization. Gotta love a bike club that puts on an "art" show...

Been riding a '76 cb400f for a couple years now, live in northeast pdx (alberta st), looking for others who are down to ride on the weekends or whenever really. The weather is starting to get really nice and I'm itching to head out into the gorge or towards the coast... anyone have any rides to suggest?

==Edit==

Oh, and here she is...

i'll probably be there for breakfast (coffee), but don't know if the norton is good for 200 miles without #$%* falling off of it... haven't had time to loctite and safety wire everything yet. got the honda cyl block back today though! if i had a head gasket i'd have that back together by saturday.
