tank bag recommendations
« on: June 03, 2013, 11:16:48 AM »
Finally got some dry sun and went for some nice long rides on my 400F.  I've realized a tank bag would be a real handy place to put things that don't fit in the generously sized Honda tool tray.  I'm looking for something less than expedition sized.  Anyone have have a tank bag that you're really impressed with?

love Cortech tanks bags. A 12L is good for day use.

Best tank bag ever!

Cheaper on Ebay (from same company).

Get the magnetic one - use it all the time on the 750.

I hooked up my bicycle commuter pannier to the tank in  a pinch and I like it a lot.  Light and plenty of pockets, I will get a real tank bag later - but for now it works.

Your bag should be directly above the divide between seat and tank.
If it's worth doing at all it's worth over-doing.

Comes also with waterproof cover. Sidepockets are useful for screwdrivers etc. Main compartment holds tool bag, phone, water etc etc...the plastic support that fits around the edges to maintain the shape has worn away in my bag (not there anymore) but you can see the bag maintains its shape well enough. Has a good handle at the top for carrying and comes with a longer shoulder strap. Magnetics are good enough at any speed ;). Really great value for money.

Taken today:

cheers
Andy

That Sedici bag looks like a nice small option.
