Passenger Pegs
« on: May 26, 2013, 07:29:58 PM »
I promise I searched it! Results were: So I cut my passenger pegs off.. And: I mounted my rearsets on the passenger ears..

Has anyone used passenger pegs from a newer sportbike or aftermarket universal? I have a 74 550K. My pegs are crooked and droopy. It looks like there is material worn away, and not just a matter of bending or tightening.

Yeah guys use them all the time, that is if they use passenger pegs at all. Cheaper universal ones work it is a matter of taste I guess, the looks you want I mean

I was hoping it was common to use passenger pegs from a CBR or something. I searched for a few hours, and almost bought a $45 set, that I thought I could make work.

I ended up ordering these: (not my proudest addition)

They might be the best $16 I ever spent. Or, in my garage sale at a $6 loss!

They would probably be fine as long as you aren't hopping on them
